This was a phishing simulation
Good catch opportunity
This message was part of a Ventura TRAVEL security-awareness exercise. The email and the page you just clicked were fakes, built to look like a real notification. No password or personal data was ever requested or stored.
How to spot one next time:
- Check the address bar. A convincing logo, banner or button is easy to copy; the domain is what gives it away. Look for lookalikes with an extra or swapped letter.
- Be wary of urgency and pressure ("action needed", "approve now", "2 minutes only"). That is a classic trigger.
- Open any tool from a bookmark or its app, never from a link inside an email.
- Never enter your Google or work password on a page reached from an email link.
- When in doubt, report the message to IT. A quick check is always better than a click.
